Continuing a tradition begun in 1873, the revived Fort Abraham Lincoln Dramatic Association offers performances of popular plays from the 1800s. Brilliantly acted by the fort's soldiers and laundresses, the melodrama offers a night of fun fit for the whole family.
Melodrama performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons throughout the summer.
Admission for the Melodrama is $2.00 for evening performances, and $1.00 for matinees. Tickets can be purchased at any time at the Commissary Storehouse, Visitor Center, and at the door,(one half-hour before the performance).
Concessions are available before the performance.
