Welcome to Fort Lincoln in 2009

Fort Lincoln.com is the official website for the Fort Abraham Lincoln Foundation. The foundation is charged with preserving and interpreting the history of the Northern Great Plains, and the Missouri Valley from the stories created at historic Fort Abraham Lincoln and the On-a-Slant Village. Through its great legacy the foundation has established the regions best interpretive program and has developed a timeless North Dakotan experience. Through the support of its members, the Mandan-Bismarck communities, and the visitors from around the world, the foundation stands as a corner stone for heritage tourism in North Dakota. Welcome and thanks for visiting
